There are a few important steps that are necessary to register a club at VIU. These include having an election, recruiting members, adopting a constitution and bylaws and a budget, and filling in a few forms that provide necessary information about your club team so that we can best support the work of your club. In exchange for this setup, clubs are provided funding, free resources, and operational support from the VIU Students' Union.
